Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might be wondering about studying kinesiology, our training pathway, careers, and getting started.

General Questions

What is kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a holistic modality that uses muscle testing to identify stress and imbalances within the body. It works across physical, emotional, mental and energetic levels to restore balance and support overall wellbeing.

Do I need prior experience to study kinesiology?

No prior experience is required. Many students begin with a personal interest in health and wellbeing and progress into professional practice through structured training.

Is kinesiology a recognised modality?

Kinesiology is widely practiced within the complementary health field worldwide. Our training follows the ICPKP Kinesiopractic® system, providing a structured and comprehensive approach to learning.

Can I study for personal growth only?

Yes. Many students begin their journey for personal development and self-awareness, and later choose to continue into practitioner training.

Course & Training

How is the training structured?

Our training follows a progressive pathway where each level builds knowledge, practical skills and confidence:

  • Foundation Level (Kinesiopractic® Level 1)
  • Diploma Training — 4 modules
  • Advanced Training

How long does it take to become a practitioner?

This depends on your pace and level of commitment. Students who progress through the full pathway typically complete practitioner-level training over a structured period of study, supported by practical experience and integration.

Is the training practical or theoretical?

Our training is highly practical. Students develop hands-on skills from the beginning — including muscle testing, balancing techniques and working with real-life scenarios. Theory is integrated to support understanding and application.

Will I get to work with real clients?

Yes. As you progress into diploma-level training, you'll participate in clinic practice sessions, allowing you to gain real client experience in a supported environment.

What qualification will I receive?

Students receive certification aligned with the ICPKP Kinesiopractic® training pathway as they progress through each level.

Career & Business

Can I build a career as a kinesiologist?

Yes — absolutely. Kinesiology offers a flexible and meaningful career pathway that goes well beyond retirement years. Graduates may choose to:

  • Start their own practice
  • Work within wellness clinics
  • Integrate kinesiology into an existing profession

Is there demand for kinesiology practitioners?

As awareness of holistic health continues to grow, more people are seeking natural and complementary approaches to wellbeing. This creates increasing opportunities for trained practitioners.

Will I learn how to start a business?

Yes. We offer workshops and guidance on building a kinesiology practice, including setting up your business, working with clients, and building confidence as a practitioner.

Can I study alongside my current job?

Yes. Our training is designed to be flexible, allowing many students to study while continuing with their existing work and commitments.
